LinkDoozer started in 2007 in an attempt to avoid getting on with real work!

The idea behind the site was to provide a perfectly democratic way for people to search and research websites and pages on the Internet. LinkDoozer's distinctive approach improves on the standard Search engine model because it shows you what other people are using and not what companies pay SEO experts big bucks for you to be shown.

All seriousness aside, anyone and everyone should find LinkDoozer a fun and easy place to store, view and compare their favorite websites. Even if you aren't into sharing reviews and ratings or swapping notes with friends, LinkDoozer can make things easy for you by providing a great visual and connected favorites folder.

In fact, having an interactive favorites folder is something I personally have needed for a long time - its one of the reasons I built the site.

How it Works

LinkDoozer is designed to allow you to manage and control your interaction with the Internet. How you use it depends on what you need and your own imagination!

Whatever you can do on any of your favorite sites you can do on LinkDoozer! Simply add that site to your LinkDoozer Homepage and all its features are available at the click of a button.

1. Register and set LinkDoozer as your homepage - we remember who you are each time you open your browser so you always go direct to your personal homepage
2. Add all your favorite links to your LinkDoozer account (including your current homepage) - each link can open in its own section of your homepage for extra easy browsing
3. Search the Doozer Categories and Links to find out what links are genuinely popular with other Doozers and add them to your account at the click of a button
4. Everyone can rate and review the sites in their account, and these reviews are made available to everyone else to help them make better decisions
5. Everyone can recommend sites to other people
6. Notes on Websites can be shared privately between contacts

• Anyone can use LinkDoozer on the understanding that it is completely free and therefore void of all guarantees and warranties whatsoever - whatever you can think of, we're not responsible! If you don't like something please, please, please let me know. If I can fix it I will; if I can't, then no one is forcing you to stay.
• I don't want your email addresses to sell to those infernal spammers - I won't share your info with anyone at all. Your information is as safe as I can make it and if there is anything you need to know, just shout.
• In an attempt to cut down on people using LinkDoozer to spam others with Website promotions, any recommender's email address is made available to the recommendee - this is on purpose because you should only be recommending a site to someone you already know.
• You must respect the rights and conditions of each of the Websites or Webpages that you visit from LinkDoozer. Should you break any of these conditions you agree to indemnify me and take sole responsibility for your actions.
• Its quite possible that I haven't thought of everything and written it down here. Because of this, these terms of use are subject to change at my discretion and without warning. If you really are that worried you can check back every now and then.
• If you use LinkDoozer for anything remotely illegal or tantamount to hate speech, or child porn and so on, I will release your information to any authorities who are interested (and probably some who aren't).
• Any attempts to subvert LinkDoozer will result in a ban and possibly legal action.
• Access to the site is granted at my sole discretion and I have the right to withhold permission or discontinue the service for whatever reason I choose and whenever I choose.
• Finally, your use of this Website automatically constitutes an acceptance of these terms.

Privacy

• The only things that are required in order to set up an account with LinkDoozer is a valid email address, your name/nickname, and a password. It might be that you wish to supply other information for your profile at a later date, but LinkDoozer won't force you to provide any more than these original requirements.
• I don't want your email addresses to sell to those infernal spammers - In fact, I won't share any of your info with anyone at all, unless you infract conditions set out in the Terms of Use. If there is anything you need to know, just shout.
• In order to keep track of all the information in each account, LinkDoozer makes use of sessions & cookies which record information about the state of your account (i.e which site goes in which category). I don't use this information for anything other than this purpose!
• There is no further information that we gather about you other than that which you volunteer or which is necessary to maintain your account.
• LinkDoozer is designed to allow automatic login from your PC or laptop of choice - this makes it easy for you to begin surfing the Net. Thusly, if you access your account from a public machine, you MUST LOG OFF before leaving the site or the next person will also have access to your HomePage.
• Be aware that whenever you view a Website through LinkDoozer you are subject to that external Website's Terms of use and Privacy conditions. As with anything, you should ensure you research the requisite information as part of a responsible approach to surfing the Net.
