Calling all creative people out there. If you're handy with a camera, or enjoy photochopping and photoshopping, or even creating weird and wonderful illustrations, then Worth1000 is the place to go to try out your hand against other creative people around the world.

Worth1000 organizes contests in different categories all the time. At any moment, there are a host of different competitions you can enter ranging from photography to illustration to effects. I'm not particularly good at creating effects, but I know enough to know that there is some serious talent working on the images I saw - admittedly I was browsing a list of the winners so one would expect them to be pretty sharp.

Along with the contests, there are also tutorials, chats and forums and plenty of community involvement. Basically, worth1000 is a great environment in which to meet new creative people, learn from them and hone your art to a fine point.

Highly recommended for photoshoppers and gawkers alike.
