ThinkGeek, as the name implies, caters for the tastes and eccentricities of the geeky public. If you're the type, like me, who thinks that having a USB powered pet rock is whimsical and far out then this is the type of place you need to come to do a spot of shopping.

A lot of the stuff they stock at ThinkGeek is definitely a step up in quality and geeky coolness from other stores. I guess you could say, these guys are the real deal when it comes to selling stuff that appeals to smart people.

I have to mention a couple of the things I saw for sale on this site. Most don't need more explanation than their name. Anyone got the munchies for "edible giant toasted leafcutter ants"? Naturally, your run of the mill ant wouldn't do here - it's leafcutter or nothing. LittleBigPlanet action figures, anyone? If you have to ask what LittleBigPlanet is then perhaps you aren't half the geek you thought you were. My favorite; the "Big Lebowski Urban Achievers Bowling shirt".

All of these irreplaceable items, and more, could be yours at rock bottom prices. Well worth a bookmarking and occasional visit - for a breath of fresh air and a fun place to shop.
